Metro Bank is seeking an experienced senior relationship and credit leader to guide a team of Relationship Managers and Commercial Analysts in the Real Estate Finance space. You will oversee lending activities, manage risk, and drive growth across major asset classes, including residential and commercial property, with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering commercial property lending deals across asset classes.
• Strong relationship management with corporate/real estate clients.
• Knowledge of credit risk and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse complex financials and prepare credit memos.
• Track record of handling large transaction sizes and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and inspire a team of Relationship Managers and Commercial Analysts.
• Develop the team for high performance and alignment with values and goals.
• Manage workflow, performance and timely compliance of risk tasks.
• Oversee an active Real Estate loan portfolio and drive new customer growth.
• Deliver lending objectives while addressing risk, market and regulatory challenges.
• Build relationships with market professionals and raise Metro Bank's brand.
• Represent the team to Committees and internal leadership forums.
