Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Business Development Consultant for patch roles across the South Coast, Bournemouth, Southampton and Dorset, with coverage of OnTheMarket in London. You will develop new business, manage relationships and grow existing clients within our online marketplace portfolio.

You will collaborate with a drawn-out sales team, meet clients in person, present product suites, and negotiate terms while representing CoStar and OnTheMarket at industry events.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sales success in online marketplaces or B2B environments.
• Maintain and grow clients over medium/long-term with excellent service.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and objection handling skills.
• Organisational skills with ability to meet metrics and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop business growth by sourcing, generating and building new business for OTM.
• Understand the OTM suite and how it meets customer needs.
• Identify new sales leads and contact potential clients.
• Meet with new and existing clients in person.
• Negotiate business terms with new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to manage risks and report results.
• Pitch to new and prospective clients with strong product knowledge.
• Represent OTM at industry events and network with property professionals.
