Job summary

Talentwise Solutions Legal Recruitment Ltd is assisting a well-established West Midlands law firm in recruiting a Real Estate Solicitor. The role involves managing acquisitions, leases and development work, with potential exposure to construction matters depending on experience.

You will work across two offices in Birmingham and Solihull, with home-working part of the week. The firm prides itself on a supportive culture, strong client relationships, and a balanced work‑life ethos.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified solicitor with 2+ years PQE.
• Experience in running a real estate/commercial property caseload.
• Experience with construction matters is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of real estate matters, including acquisitions, leases and development transactions.
• Handle construction matters or assist with construction work as per experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and provide legal advice to owners, developers, investors, lenders, landlords and occupiers.
• Work as part of a Birmingham/Solihull based team of real estate professionals across two locations.
• Support and collaborate with the broader real estate group to deliver seamless client service.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing your own caseload of real estate matters including acquisitions, leases and development transactions
• Handling construction matters or assisting with construction matters, depending on experience
• Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships with high profile clients
• Providing legal advice to property owners, land owners, developers, investors, lenders, landlords, and occupiers
• Working as part of an established team of around 15 real estate professionals over two locations

Who we're looking for:

Suitable candidates will have:

• Fully qualified status with 2 years' or more PQE
• Experience of running a real estate / commercial property caseload
• Experience of handling or assisting with construction matters (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent client care skills

This is a full-time permanent job which can be based in Birmingham city centre or Solihull. The role is offered with home-working for part of the week.
