Job summary

RecXchange in the West London area is seeking a Concrete Batcher / Ready-Mix Plant Operator to join a busy operation. You will assist in supervising production from the plant control room, operate computerised batching systems and ensure the correct mix is delivered.

Prior batching experience helps, but training is provided and the right attitude matters. We value proactive, reliable team players who can communicate with drivers, coordinate with shippers, and maintain accurate production

Qualifications

• Previous batching experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Training can be provided.
• We are looking for proactive, confident individuals who want to learn the production process.

Responsibilities

• Review scheduled and booked concrete orders.
• Move work through production and batching processes.
• Operate and monitor computerised batching systems.
• Monitor batches to ensure the correct mix is delivered.
• Make minor adjustments during production as required.
• Coordinate with Shippers to manage production, deliveries and drivers.
• Communicate load and production details with drivers.
• Work with Concrete Technicians to meet quality standards.
• Carry out quality checks on your own work.
• Maintain accurate production records and information.
• Take ownership of product quality and consistency.
