Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group in the Uxbridge area is seeking a Concrete Batcher / Ready-Mix Plant Operator to join a busy West London operation with occasional cover at a nearby site. The role suits someone with batching experience or a background in ready-mix, aggregates or related production environments; training can be provided.

We value proactive, confident individuals who can work with computerised batching systems and communicate with drivers.

Qualifications

• Experience in ready-mix batching is advantageous but training can be provided.
• Direct ready-mix batching experience is ideal but not essential; transferable production experience is acceptable.
• Comfortable working with computerised batching systems and multiple screens.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor computerised batching systems from the plant control room.
• Review scheduled concrete orders and move work through production.
• Coordinate production with drivers and Shippers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Carry out quality checks and maintain accurate production records.
• Identify and address potential issues during production.
