Job summary

Workshop Recruitment is seeking a Concrete Batcher for a well-established construction materials company in the United Kingdom. This hands-on role involves batching, dispatch planning, stock control, and delivering excellent customer service to keep ready-mix concrete flowing on time.

You will join a proactive team, receive full training, and must hold a valid driving license. The role starts early (6am) with overtime potential and weekend shifts as required, offering a supportive, family-run

Qualifications

• Experience in construction/haulage or ready-mix concrete environment preferred.
• Knowledge of ready-mix concrete, aggregates and bulk haulage is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• IT literacy and ability to learn systems.

Responsibilities

• Following work orders, batch and dispatch ready-mix concrete safely and efficiently.
• Monitor material stock levels and arrange replenishment when required.
• Carry out routine inspections and housekeeping.
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate records using company systems.
• Liaise with internal teams to coordinate deliveries and material movements.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures.
