Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking a Lecturer in Aeronautical Engineering to lead and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment for Aeronautical Engineering.

You will cover theoretical and practical principles for aircraft systems, structures, maintenance practices and industry standards, while working with employers, apprentices and full-time learners.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aeronautical or aerospace engineering with at least 2 years technical experience.
• A level 4 qualification in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
• A passion for supporting students to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proactive in initiating, developing and implementing new ideas.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities
