Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking an Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer to join our technical education team. You will lead and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment for Aeronautical Engineering, covering theoretical and practical principles for aircraft.

The role involves initiating and developing new ideas, with emphasis on outstanding communication and organisational skills. We value a Level 4 qualification in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, plus a teaching qualification or

Qualifications

Knowledge of aeronautical or aerospace engineering with at least 2 years technical experience.
A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
A passion for supporting students to learn and develop new skills.
The ability to work successfully within a team.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment for Aeronautical Engineering.
Cover both theoretical and practical principles for aircraft.
Initiate, develop and implement new ideas and developments. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
