Job summary

Teaching Vacancies in partnership with a vibrant secondary school invites applications for an excellent classroom practitioner. You will deliver engaging lessons across Year 7 to GCSE and help foster an inclusive school community where pupils are happy and proud of their achievements.

What skills and experience we're looking for

In May 2025, our brand new state-of-the-art Science refurbishment, costing £3.48 million was completed! Every Science teacher has their own teaching laboratory, and we are excited to build on the department’s excellent outcomes from August 2026: 88% of students achieved grade 4s or higher across the Triple and Combined routes.

You should be an excellent classroom practitioner and have students at the heart of your decision making. We are looking for a candidate who is creative and able to demonstrate:

  • A thorough knowledge of their subject from Year 7 transition through to GCSE.
  • The enthusiasm and skills to motivate students of all abilities and the ability to use a range of teaching strategies to maximise student potential.
  • The commitment needed to play an active role within a well‑motivated and dynamic team.
