Job summary

CTRG Limited is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to Work Full Time & Part Time In WIDNES. You will be delivering chilled and ambient goods to food retail stores. This is a hands-on role involving the transportation and safe unloading of palletised and caged goods directly to store locations.

You'll be part of a fast-paced and customer-focused environment with delivering to retail store deliveries as well as RDC's. 6 Months UK HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required, Minimum Age of 21.

Qualifications

• UK C+E licence with at least 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• DCPC qualification and Digital Tachograph knowledge.
• Understanding of drivers hours and WTD legislation.
• Ability to perform vehicle safety checks and report defects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled and ambient goods to food retailers and RDCs.
• Unload palletised and caged goods safely at store locations.
• Work in a fast-paced, customer-focused transport environment.

• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible, can-do attitude
