Job summary

Brook Street Social Care in Widnes is recruiting an experienced Team Leader to support young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a nurturing, structured home. You will oversee a team of residential support workers, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes for the children in your care.

You will aid the Registered Manager daily, mentor staff, uphold safeguarding and quality standards, and contribute to individual care plans, building trusted relationships with children,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a senior or team leader role within a children's residential setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one).

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a nurturing, safe, and structured environment. You will lead a team of residential support workers, ensuring the highest quality of care is consistently delivered while promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in your care.
