Job summary

Brook Street Social Care, in partnership with a well-established residential care provider, seeks a Senior Support Worker for a solo placement home in Lancaster. You will work with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, earning £34,084–£37,509 per year, including sleeps.

Shift pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off. Essential qualifications include 12 months in children's residential care, Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, and a UK driving licence.

We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join the team within a solo placement home in Lancaster for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Salary: £34,084.00 - £37,509.00 per annum, inclusive of sleeps - (depending on qualification)

Essential requirements for a Team Leader:

A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

A full driving licence issued in the UK

• Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
• In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
• Values in line with the organisation, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
