What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a fully qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team to support children and classes across the school, as well as taking on short periods of cover for absent teachers.

We are looking for a creative, passionate professional to join our friendly church school. We’d love to meet someone who will be an active member of our team as we continue to grow and develop together, striving to offer our children the best experience possible.

In time, the role may evolve to take on PPA cover for the right person. If you have a passion for music, computing, art or another specialism, this could be just the role for you!

The successful candidate will:

The role will involve ad-hoc cover of classes, intervention support, and may grow to include PPA cover.

Further details about the role

The role will involve ad-hoc cover of classes, interventionsupport, and may grow to include PPA cover.

The role is for 30 hours/week, based on 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, although we would be open to a conversation with the right person wishing to work 4 days. The contract will initially be for a period of one year, but may be extended subject to the school’s needs in subsequent years.
