Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking skilled CS&A Engineers to join a UK-wide office network for hybrid work. Roles span multiple locations including Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Warrington, and more, with contracts inside IR35 and rates from £45 per hour.

You will lead technical delivery, manage projects and mentor junior designers, ensuring quality and compliance across all design activities. This is a dynamic opportunity across UK offices with client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in CS&A engineering within the UK.
• Leadership or supervision of junior designers preferred.
• Strong technical delivery across scope, time, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical quality and excellence of engineering delivery.
• Plan projects, deliverables and manage financial performance.
• Coordinate with clients and design teams to provide input and justification.
• Guide and mentor junior designers in technical aspects.
• Develop and deliver design documents and solutions.

LOCATIONS: WARRINGTON, CUMBRIA, GLASGOW, GLOUCESTER, BRISTOL, NEWCASTLE & STOCKTON

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking CS&A Engineers to support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK - Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.

These are contract positions inside IR35 with rates starting from £45ph

BPSS clearance is required for this role.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical quality and excellence of your work and the work of those working under you to ensure engineering delivery meets scope, time, cost and quality
• Project planning, delivery and financial performance of your work and that of junior staff
• Communication with clients and other design team members to provide technical input and justification
• Technical and professional guidance, support and development of more junior designers
• Responsible for the development and delivery of design documents and solutions
• Chair and facilitate technical and non-technical meetings including progress meetings and design reviews
• Independent and autonomous work during the delivery of complex engineering activities
• Be fully conversant with business and quality management systems and actively encourage compliance within team.
