Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking CS&A Engineers to support hybrid working across our UK office network, with roles based in Glasgow and other offices. This contract position falls inside IR35 with rates starting from £45ph, offering varied project work and opportunity to progress with experienced teams.

The role covers delivery of design solutions, project planning, client liaison, and mentoring junior designers within a regulated engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical quality of your work and that of junior staff to meet scope, time, cost and quality.
• Plan, deliver, and monitor financial performance of projects and junior staff.
• Communicate with clients and design teams to provide technical input and justification.
• Provide technical guidance and develop junior designers.
• Develop and deliver design documents and solutions.
• Chair and facilitate progress meetings and design reviews.
• Work independently on complex engineering tasks.
• Ensure awareness of business and quality management systems and promote compliance.

LOCATIONS: WARRINGTON, CUMBRIA, GLASGOW, GLOUCESTER, BRISTOL, NEWCASTLE & STOCKTON

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking CS&A Engineers to support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK - Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.

These are contract positions inside IR35 with rates starting from £45ph

BPSS clearance is required for this role.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical quality and excellence of your work and the work of those working under you to ensure engineering delivery meets scope, time, cost and quality
• Project planning, delivery and financial performance of your work and that of junior staff
• Communication with clients and other design team members to provide technical input and justification
• Technical and professional guidance, support and development of more junior designers
• Responsible for the development and delivery of design documents and solutions
• Chair and facilitate technical and non-technical meetings including progress meetings and design reviews
• Independent and autonomous work during the delivery of complex engineering activities
• Be fully conversant with business and quality management systems and actively encourage compliance within team.
