Job summary

SpaMedica in Wembley is seeking a Registered General Nurse to join our patient-focused team. The role involves delivering safe, compassionate care, administering medications, and supporting post-operative patients within our NHS cataract surgery services.

You will work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, across a 4-on-6 shift pattern (7:30am–5:30pm). We offer comprehensive benefits, ongoing training, and opportunities for professional development as part of the UK’s largest NHS cataract provider.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with NMC registration.
• Experience in hospital care and post-operative care.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality laws (Data Protection Act and GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Administer drugs in accordance to the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines.
• Undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
• Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available.
• To ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR laws.
• Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.
• Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.

Role: Registered General Nurse

Location: 28 and 30 Wembley Park Boulevard, Wembley, HA9 0HP

Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, working 4 days out of 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Salary: £38,166 - £40,994 (Dependant on experience)
