Job summary

SpaMedica in Kendal is seeking a Bank Registered General Nurse to support theatre day care and diagnostic services. You will admit and discharge patients, deliver high-quality care, and dispense medicines in line with NMC guidelines and governance standards.

This zero-hours bank contract pays £18.90 per hour, with 7:30am–5:30pm shifts, contributing to the UK’s leading cataract care provider committed to safety, kindness and transparency.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Ability to admit/discharge patients and provide clinical care.
• Willingness to work flexible bank shifts.

Responsibilities

Hours: Bank Contract - Zero Hours

Salary: £18.90ph

About you:
You will be responsible for admitting and discharging our patients on their theatre day and undertaking all care to our patients while they are in the hospital with us for their diagnostic tests. You will be dispensing drugs in accordance to the NMC guidelines and adhering to the principles of clinical governance. You will be caring, kind, compassionate and be able to deliver a high standard of care to all of our patients. Teamwork is a key element to make sure our day to day clinics run smoothly and our patients have the best experience with us and get the best outcome possible.
