Job summary

SpaMedica is recruiting a Registered General Nurse for a 12 Month FTC in Watford. The role is based in our Watford cluster and involves working across multiple sites with 37.5 hours per week over 4 days in 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

You will administer medicines under NMC guidelines, provide perioperative care, support stock control, maintain patient confidentiality, mentor colleagues, and manage admission and discharge on theatre day.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with NMC guidelines knowledge.
• Experience in hospital or surgical settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer drugs in accordance with NMC guidelines for safe handling of medicines.
• Undertake all care for patients in hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
• Assist with stock control, ensuring par levels are maintained and items are readily available.
• Ensure patient confidentiality at all times per Data Protection Act and GDPR.
• Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.
• Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.

This role will be based within our Watford cluster, which involves working across multiple sites.

Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, working 4 days out of 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Salary: £38,166 - £40,994 (Dependant on experience)

Responsibilities of the Registered General Nurse:
