Shaw Healthcare in Wellingborough is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred care at Lancum House. The role covers 30 hours per week with shifts from 07:45 to 20:15, contributing to a warm, safe environment for residents, including those with dementia.

Lancum House is a purpose built 43 bed residential care home providing care for older people including people with dementia. It is situated in Wellingborough, Northants. Lancum House has a wide internal ‘street’, where there are various facilities including a shop and a hairdresser salon.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan


• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene


• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents


• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion


• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties


• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
