Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service in Wales is seeking Personal Assistants to support me at home in Lledrod and in the community, helping me live independently and enjoy a good quality of life. A key part of this role is supporting me to make the most of my rural surroundings, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the peaceful countryside that Mid Wales has to offer.

I am looking for outgoing, positive individuals who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting personal care routines, including washing, showering, dressing, and applying skin cream throughout the day
• Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning and food preparation
• Accompanying me in the local community, including transport to and from appointments and activities
• Providing calm and reassuring support in busy environments such as high streets, shops, and local amenities
• Supporting me to enjoy the outdoors, including gentle walks, fresh air, tending plants and countryside surroundings

Hours of work: 20.75 hours per week (shared between employees)

Rate of pay £14.00
