Job summary

Manpower UK Limited seeks a Class 2 ADR driver for Bury Saint Edmunds. Earn £18.29 per hour with guaranteed 42.5 hours weekly, overtime at £27.44, and weekends paid at £27.44. Includes 28 days holiday and a performance-based bonus up to £1000 twice a year.

The role features Mon-Fri shifts with some Saturdays, 7am–5pm, some overtime, and on-site parking plus PPE and training. Start ASAP, through 30 April 2027, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Cat C driving licence with Digi card and DCPC card.
• ADR licence in class 2 in packages.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• No more than 6 points on licence and no DD/DR convictions in last year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to customers, ensuring safe handling.
• Maintain safe and professional operations in line with client standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional conduct on site.
• Manual handling of gas cylinders and adherence to HSE requirements.

Cylinder Driver - Class 2 ADR Driver - Bury Saint Edmunds

Are you a Class 2 ADR driver seeking a new opportunity? Join our client's team at Bury Saint Edmunds and enjoy:

Competitive Pay: Earn £18.29 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £27.44 Weekends paid at £27.44 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Yearly Bonuses: Performance-based bonus of up to £1000 twice a year

Flexible Shifts: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 7am - 5pm. Some overtime is required.

Details:

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered
• The role is due to start immediately and will run until the end of April 2027 when it will be reviewed
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
