Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an ADR Class 2 Driver for a temporary role based in Uxbridge, offering £19.41 per hour for a guaranteed 42.5-hour week, with overtime and weekend work paid at £29.12. This assignment involves Monday-to-Friday day shifts between 07:00 and 17:00, plus occasional Saturdays during peak periods.

You will handle deliveries requiring full LPG training, which is provided, along with all necessary PPE and well-maintained vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence.
• Digi card.
• DCPC (Driver CPC) card.
• ADR licence in class 2.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• DBS check required.
• No more than 6 points; no DD or DR convictions in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Delivery to domestic and commercial customers and wholesale suppliers.
• Multi-drop operation covered by ADR/CDG Regulations.
• Difficult and challenging delivery environment.
• Lots of minor roads, single lane carriageways, adverse weather conditions, physically arduous work.
• Strong focus on Hand&;S when driving and delivering.
• Ever changing and dynamic delivery environment.
• Monday to Friday shift pattern; some Saturdays in busy times.
• Delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards.
• Loading / Unloading of Gas cylinders; manual handling.

A London weighting bonus of £7.75 per shift applies, and performance‑based bonuses up to £2,000 annually are possible. Free parking is available on site. The position offers 28 days of holiday, increasing with service, and PAYE pay.

• Potentially long and extended working hours (10 hours+ per day) during peak period
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards
• Loading / Unloading of HGV Vehicles with Gas cylinders
• Manual handling of Gas cylinders

Requirements

• Valid Cat C driving licence
• Digi card
• DCPC card
• ADR licence in class 2 in packages
• Familiarity with drivers'' hours legislation and tachographs
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.

The role is due to start immediately and will be ongoing. Lots of management and colleague support available.
