Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Class 2 ADR driver for a Preston-based role. Earn £17.13 per hour, with a guaranteed 42.5 hours per week and overtime at £25.70. Weekends paid at the same rate.

28 days of holiday per year, increasing with length of service. Typical shifts are Monday to Friday with some Saturdays during busy periods, 7am–5pm, with some overtime. Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders, maintaining high safety and customer service standards, and manual handling

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence with Digi card and DCPC.
• ADR licence in class 2 (packages).
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, professional operations in line with client standards.

Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £25.70 Weekends paid at £25.70 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Yearly Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses twice a year

Flexible Shifts: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 7am - 5pm. Some overtime is required.

Requirements:

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card

• Successful candidates require a DBS check.

Details:

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered
• The role is due to start immediately and will run until the end of May 2027 when it will be reviewed
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
