Job summary

Tilhill, the UK’s leading forestry management company, is seeking a motivated Harvesting Manager to join our Harvesting Southern Team. You will manage harvesting operations across your area, overseeing contractor and customer relationships, stand valuations, breakout and P&L, while pursuing new opportunities and growth within a nationally integrated timber business.

You will need relevant supervisory experience, strong commercial, safety and environmental awareness, and the ability to lead teams

As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for managing harvesting operations across your designated area, including

contractor and customer relationships, stand valuations, breakout and P&L responsibility. You’ll also play an important role in

securing new harvesting opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the area.

We’re looking for someone with relevant supervisory experience, strong commercial, safety and environmental awareness, and the

ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, self-motivation

and a proactive approach are essential along with a full driving licence.
