Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEND within a Key Stage 4 classroom environment
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
  • Assist with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
  • Work closely with class teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to follow individual support plans
  • Support pupils during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and preparation for post-16 pathways
  • Observe and share information regarding pupil progress and well-being
