Job summary

British Heart Foundation in Darlington is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our home store team. You will work flexibly across 5 days in a 7-day week, including weekends and bank holidays, to support staff, volunteers and customers while upholding our values.

This role focuses on delivering great customer service, hitting targets, merchandising, promoting sales online and in-store, and coordinating volunteer recruitment and development.

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our home store team in Darlington so we could be the perfect match!

Candidate must be fully flexible to work 5 days out of 7 per week including Weekends and Bank Holidays.

• Working with the manager to generate stock

Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week which means we require flexibility from our store teams to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations, it can be physically demanding at times, yet most rewarding as you play a part in helping to fund life‑saving research.
