Responsibilities

Salary: £52,000 - £60,000 per annum DOE + Performance Bonuses

Service: New 4-Bed Children's Residential Home

Registered Manager - New Children's Residential Home

We are recruiting an experienced and ambitious

Registered Manager to lead a newly refurbished

four-bed children's residential home near Tamworth.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new service, leading it through

Ofsted registration and into successful operation.

Working closely with the Responsible Individual and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in developing the service, recruiting your team and establishing a positive, therapeutic and child-centred culture.

The home will support young people aged

13-17 years with:

  • Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
  • Trauma and attachment-related needs
  • Complex social and emotional needs

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead and support the

Applicants must have:

Completed Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.

  • Minimum

3 years' experience within children's residential care in the last 5 years.

  • Minimum

1 year's supervisory or management experience.

  • Experience preparing for and participating in

Ofsted inspections.

  • Strong knowledge of the

Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

  • Experience managing safeguarding and child protection concerns.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, PACE, attachment theory, restorative practice and Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Strong leadership, communication and report-writing skills.

Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Enhanced DBS suitable for working with children.
  • Previous Registered Manager experience.
  • Experience opening or registering a new children's home.
  • Experience achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted judgements.
  • Knowledge of commissioning and placement processes.
  • Experience working alongside clinical and therapeutic professionals.

Salary & Benefits

£52,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
