Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Shipdham service. The role involves assisting residents to gain independence, providing personal care where needed, and supporting engagement with the local community and activities.

Typical shifts include nights (9.30pm–7.30am) and day options. A manual driving license is required to enable community access and transport when needed. Training and progression opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Support Worker – Shipdham - £13.05 ph up to £14.55 with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

28 hour or 35 hour post to cover over a mix of days and nights

**MANUAL DRIVING LICENSE IS REQUIRED AS PART OF THIS ROLE**

Typical Shifts are Nights: Monday - Sunday 9.30pm- 7.30am and for day staff 7:30-2:30 2:30-9:30

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

At our supported living service in Shipdham , we support 5 females and 1 male, it is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care for complex needs, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the local community on day trips, the next you could be unwinding with them dong an activity of their choice at the service.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
