As a Catering Team Leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day catering operation, leading and motivating your team to deliver an outstanding dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.
You’ll build strong relationships with students, school staff, and colleagues, helping to create a welcoming environment where great food is at the heart of the school community.

One of the key benefits of this role is the term-time-only contract with annualised pay. This means your salary is spread evenly across 12 months and paid monthly, giving you the security of a regular income throughout the year, including during school and college holiday periods.
Lead and motivate the catering team to deliver excellent food and service standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, safeguarding, and company policies.
Deliver high-quality meals in line with menus, dietary requirements, and food standards.
Build positive relationships with clients, students, and colleagues.
Manage stock, ordering, food production, and waste control effectively.
Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting.
Experience in a catering supervisory, team leader, or management role is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
Food preparation and customer service skills desirable.
Good understanding of food safety, health & safety, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, organisation, and team leadership skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
A proactive, and customer-focused approach.
As this role is based within a school environment, successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check. ISS will arrange and cover the cost of this as part of the onboarding process.
