Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is recruiting part-time Catering Assistants for schools in the Chichester area. Working pattern is Monday to Friday 11:30–13:30, with term-time-only, annualised pay paid monthly.

Role involves preparing and serving meals, maintaining food safety and hygiene, handling tills where required, and delivering a friendly service to students and staff. DBS check will be arranged by ISS.

• Operate tills where required.
• Report any health and safety concerns, accidents, or equipment faults.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Work collaboratively as part of the catering team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

We are recruiting for Part Time Catering Assistants at various schools in the area.

As a Catering Assistant, you'll be part of a friendly and supportive team, helping to prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming school environment. From food preparation and service to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, you'll play an important role in ensuring students enjoy their lunchtime experience.

One of the key benefits of this role is the term-time-only contract with annualised pay. This means your salary is spread evenly across 12 months and paid monthly, giving you the security of a regular income throughout the year, including during school and college holiday periods.

The Role

As this role is based within a school environment, all successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check. ISS will arrange and cover the cost of this as part of the onboarding process.
