Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for a HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) driver in St Ives with flat bed experience. The role starts on a long-term basis, with a possibility of permanency after a successful trial. Shifts run Monday to Friday from 05:00.

Paid breaks, weekly overtime and benefits apply. Primary duties include delivering bricks and blocks to UK distribution centres, retailers and building sites, ensuring loads are strapped and paperwork completed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
• Experience with flat bed loading/ops
• UK driving licence and compliance with drivers’ hours

Responsibilities

• Deliver bricks and blocks to distribution centres, retailers and building sites across the UK
• Ensure loads are strapped down securely and paperwork is completed accurately
• Operate on a day shift starting at 05:00, with potential for a permanent position after a trial period

The role will involve delivery of bricks and blocks to distribution centres, retailers and building sites across the UK. You will be responsible for ensuring the load is strapped down fully and arrives on time and all paperwork is completed.
