The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver looking for regular weekend work with a reputable company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient delivery of chilled products to customers.
• Delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius.
• Completing delivery routes efficiently.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork.
• Ensuring compliance with Working Time Directive regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.

Location: Tamworth
Pay: £21.10 per hour
Hours: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | Start times between 06:00 - 15:00
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

The Role

As a Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of chilled products to customers.

Duties will include:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally
• Delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius
• Completing delivery routes efficiently
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with driver's hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

Working Hours

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Start times between 06:00 - 15:00
• Flexible approach required to support weekday cover when needed

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Minimum 6 month's commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Flexible approach to working weekends and weekdays
• Reliable and professional attitude
