Job summary

A leading logistics recruitment agency in the UK is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for a major logistics company. Candidates must hold an LGV C+E Licence and will benefit from excellent pay rates, ongoing assignments, and holiday entitlement. This role involves flexible shifts and responsibilities such as completing drops and conducting vehicle checks without heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Candidates need an LGV C+E Licence accompanied with digital tachograph card.
• 1 year of experience preferred, but new passes accepted.
• Ability to adhere to Working Time & Tachograph Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete 1-4 drops per shift without handballing.
• Liaise daily with the transport team.
• Conduct vehicle and trailer checks.

Job description

HGV Class 1 Drivers

Location: Nottingham (LE12 & NG11)

Pay Rates:

• Days: £15.94 Per Hour
• Nights: £17.01 Per Hour
• Weekends: £23.92-£34.03 per hours
• Uplift in pay after 12 weeks

Minimum Pay: 8 Hours per shift

Shifts: Flexible Patterns Available

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 driver(s) to work for our client based in East Leake and Gotham for a major international logistics company. The company is the UK's biggest supplier of plaster boards. There is no handball in this role.

Candidates need an LGV C+E Licence accompanied with digital tachograph card and qualification card,1 year experience preferred but they will accept new passes as you are required to pass an assessment.

The role of LGV C+E Class one driver.

• Monday to Friday
• Start times available between 02:00-09:00 & 17:00-19:00.
• You will be required to do 1-4 drops per shift
• No handball just pulling curtains on single deck trailer
• Liaise with transport team on daily route
• Adhering To All Working Time & Tachograph Regulations
• Pre Vehicle & Trailer Checks
• Load Checks
• Completing All Related Paper Work & Debrief Information
