Early Learners Nursery (Eccleston) Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to lead a busy nursery setting and its team. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring EYFS and statutory guidance are delivered while supporting Managers, the Area Manager, and Directors across St Helens locations.
The role requires flexibility between 7am–6pm, Monday–Friday, and a strong commitment to safety, inclusivity, and continuous improvement in early years provision.
Full-time, Working 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday, flexible to suit the needs of the business.
Gross Annual Salary of up to: £30,537.00

Early Learners Nurseries has been caring for babies and young children since 1985 and is a family run company. We want passionate Early Years Professionals to join our expanding workforce.
We are searching for a proactive candidate who can effectively support and lead a setting and its team. The position involves having a high level of responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company. The job involves being responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering the Early years Foundation Stage Statutory Guidance (EYFS) and other government statutory legislation within our childcare provision. Working across settings supporting the Managers, Area Manager and Directors.
To offer full and practical support in the day to day running of the nursery. To be flexible to the needs of the business. Flexible to work between: 7am - 6pm, Monday - Friday, to be flexible to the needs of the business.
A candidate for this position will need to demonstrate the ability to successfully manage a company, support parents & carers and work alongside the local authority. They must be proactive, have a positive approach to learning and be open to change as Early Learners is an evolving and growing company who continuously strive for excellence.
They must provide a safe, stimulative and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. All candidates must provide evidence of a minimum Early Years qualification of a level 3+, childcare degree and/or NQT, equivalent or higher to apply for a position.
Following the correct procedure, as a childcare provider we must ensure that people looking after children are suitable to fulfil the requirements of their roles and understand their responsibilities. All employees must be registered with the DBS update service.
