Job summary

GI Group Main Account is recruiting Machine Operators for a busy food production site. The role follows a 4 on/4 off day shift pattern, starting at 7 am until finish, with emphasis on quality, safety, and team collaboration.

Ideal candidates have hands-on production experience, strong attention to detail, and reliability for this shift. Training and a hands-on safety culture are highlighted in the role.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery to meet output and quality targets
• Setting up machines and carrying out basic adjustments/changeovers (where required)
• Completing quality checks and ensuring products meet site standards
• Recording production information accurately (counts, checks, downtime, etc.)
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area in line with food safety standards
• Following all health & safety procedures and reporting any faults/issues promptly
