Solent Mind in Southampton is inviting applications for a Finance Administrator to support the finance team in delivering an effective accounting service and assist budget holders in delivering mental health support services. The role offers varied, interesting work across our charitable activities with training provided.

The role also covers governance support for the Senior Management Team, general administrative tasks including email inbox management, rota updates, and central records

Job description

This is an opportunity to join the Solent Mind Finance Team as a Finance Administrator. The role helps deliver an effective accounting service and help our budget holders to deliver the mental health support services they provide. This is an opportunity to work within a dynamic and evolving Finance Team to improve processes, data quality and make a difference. Training will be provided and the work is varied and interesting due to our portfolio of charitable activities.

This role will also support with general administrative tasks such as supporting effective governance for the Senior Management Team (SMT), along with general admin including email inboxes, updating rota schedules and coordinating centrally held records. You will also provide support administration for the Board including meetings, annual reporting checklists, supporting inductions and events.
