Job summary

Silver Birch Care Holdings is hiring a Residential Support Worker to assist young people in a safe, nurturing home. You will support daily routines, build strong relationships, and help young people grow confidence and independence.

The role is part-time (30 hours) with sleep-ins included; salary includes sleep-ins and benefits. Training and progression opportunities are provided across multiple services within the group.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and young people (preferred)
  • Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, safe and supportive environment for young people
  • Build positive relationships with young people and support care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for safeguarding and progress
  • Promote independence and emotional wellbeing in daily life
  • Support daily routines and activities to aid development

Job description

Hours: Part-Time, 30 hours (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

Salary: Salary of £20,623.20 plus to an additional £4230 per year for sleep-ins (dependent on the number of sleep-ins completed).

About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
