Spellman Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team, delivering essential support and companionship to residents in care homes or via home care services. You will help with daily activities, follow personalised care plans, and maintain accurate records to ensure safety and well-being.

The role involves 44 hours per week on a rota, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with opportunities to develop skills and provide meaningful care to those we support.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care is preferred but training is provided.
  • Strong English communication to interact with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and responsibly.
  • Basic IT skills for recording care activities and accessing documentation.
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well‑being.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends or bank holidays.

To work 4 shifts over 7 - we currently have a vacancy for both nights and days. 44 hours per week on a rota basis.
