Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated Unit Nurse Manager - Nights for a dementia-focused nursing home in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will hold an NMC PIN as an RGN or RMN and bring leadership experience to oversee a busy unit.

You will manage staff rotas, maintain high standards of care, and ensure safeguarding and medication protocols are followed, while supporting residents and staff through night shifts.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid NMC PIN as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
• Demonstrate experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a nursing home setting.
• Ensure safeguarding, medication protocols and industry standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Providing professional, person-centred care in accordance with residents' care plans.
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, medication protocols, and industry standards.
• Overseeing and managing unit care plans to maintain best practices and individual needs.
• Responding promptly to emergencies and escalating concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
• Accurately maintaining care records, incident reports, and end-of-shift handovers.
• Coordinating and resolving staff rota issues, arranging agency bookings when required.
• Supporting and mentoring staff to create a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Actively participating in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Salary Rate: £24.70

What We’re Looking For

Hold a valid NMC PIN as a
