Job summary

Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust seeks a part-time Home Tutor & Teaching Assistant to support a child with neurodiverse needs, mainly in KS2 with some KS1 tasks. The post covers home and school settings, with travel between locations (approx. 10 miles). A valid car/transport is essential to deliver tutoring.

The role offers a supportive village school environment, a rated transfer between sites, and potential continuation subject to EHCP review. Closing date 27 September 2026.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Ideally has experience working with children with neurodiverse needs.
• Will be working broadly in KS2 but with dedicated hours supporting a specific child working on some aspects of a KS1 curriculum.
• Can form strong relationships with adults and children.
• Someone who is creative and can adapt to suit interests.
• Is able and happy to travel between the child's home and school (approx. 10 miles) to deliver home tutoring.
• Your own car/transport is essential.
