Job summary

Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust seeks a part-time Home Tutor & Teaching Assistant to support a child with neurodiverse needs, mainly in KS2 with some KS1 tasks. The post covers home and school settings, with travel between locations (approx. 10 miles). A valid car/transport is essential to deliver tutoring.

The role offers a supportive village school environment, a rated transfer between sites, and potential continuation subject to EHCP review. Closing date 27 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with neurodiverse needs.
• Ability to work across KS2 with some KS1 curriculum elements.
• Ability to travel between home and school for tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Support learning for the child both at home and at school.
• Assist reintegration back into school by reinforcing routines and skills.
• Build strong relationships with adults and children to support learning.
