Job summary

Abri in the United Kingdom is seeking three skilled Multi-Trade Operatives to join the Empty Homes team across Petersfield and surrounding areas, reporting into the Eastleigh office. You will carry out repairs, refurbishment and maintenance to bring vacant properties back up to re-let standard, taking ownership and delivering quality workmanship.

Working hands-on with carpentry and plumbing tasks, you’ll identify issues, coordinate with colleagues and contractors, and help minimise void times so

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, plumbing or general maintenance within social housing.
• Ability to carry out refurbishment and maintenance to re-let standard.
• Proactive in identifying repairs and resolving issues in vacant properties.

About the role

As part of our Empty Homes team, you'll work across Petersfield and the surrounding areas, reporting into the Eastleigh office, carrying out a variety of repair, maintenance and refurbishment works to prepare homes for re-let.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll use your multi-trade skills to bring properties back up to standard, ensuring they're ready for new customers to move in and make them home.

From carpentry and plumbing to general maintenance and finishing works, you'll take ownership of your properties, delivering quality workmanship and helping us minimise the time homes stand empty.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works within vacant properties
• Completing carpentry, plumbing and general multi-trade tasks to bring homes up to our re-let standard
• Identifying additional repairs and proactively resolving issues to ensure properties are ready for occupation
• Working both internally and externally, including communal areas, fencing, gardens and general grounds maintenance
