Job summary

Vibe Recruit is recruiting for Vehicle Technicians of all skill levels to join our client's dealership team in Scunthorpe.

This role offers a competitive salary (£36,500-£48,000 OTE) with specialist EV training, manufacturer support and clear progression routes into Master Technician and Diagnostic Specialist roles.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience in servicing, mechanical repairs or diagnostics.
• Full UK driving licence and keen interest in EV technology.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and EV-related faults.
• Use wiring diagrams and manufacturer bulletins.
• Complete job cards and repair documentation accurately.
• Road-test vehicles before and after repairs.
• Deliver high-quality, first-time fixes to maximise customer satisfaction.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and EV-related faults
• Using technical information, wiring diagrams and manufacturer bulletins
• Completing job cards and repair documentation accurately
• Road-testing vehicles before and after repairs
• Delivering high-quality, first-time fixes to maximise customer satisfaction

About You

We\'re keen to hear from candidates who have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience in vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs or diagnostics
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-focused approach
• Experience working in a franchised dealership or independent garage
• A full UK driving licence
• A genuine interest in developing their technical skills, particularly in EV technology
