Job summary

Vibe Recruit is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy automotive service team in Louth. You will service, repair and diagnose vehicles to high standards, completing jobs safely and efficiently.

The role offers generous earnings (£36,500-£48,000 OTE), full-time permanent contract, manufacturer training and career development, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and other benefits. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 are required; MOT tester is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician.
• MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to high standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
• Road test vehicles following repairs to ensure quality.
• Strip down and recondition major vehicle components.
• Complete accurate repair and service records.
• Work efficiently as part of a busy workshop team.
• Maintain high health & safety and workmanship standards.

Vibe Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and established automotive service team in Louth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Vehicle Technician looking for a long-term, permanent position with excellent earning potential, manufacturer training and opportunities for career development.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are completed safely and efficiently.

Your duties will include:

• Vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Using diagnostic equipment
• Road testing vehicles following repairs
• Stripping down and reconditioning major vehicle components
• Completing accurate repair and service records
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs
• Working efficiently as part of a busy workshop team
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and workmanship

About You

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Previous experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician

Valid MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential

Full UK driving licence

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

Positive, can-do attitude

Reliable, self-motivated and a strong team player

Experience within either a franchised dealership or independent garage will be considered.
