Job summary

Sacred Heart School is seeking a Class Teacher for maternity cover. The role requires a qualified teacher with a degree, a commitment to professional development, and a track record of excellent classroom practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level.
• Commitment to professional development.
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience or equivalent for ECT.
• Strong classroom practice and understanding of the class teacher role.
• Knowledge of primary curriculum and assessment.
• Experience or ambition to take on subject leadership impacting learning.
• Knowledge of primary/EYFS curriculum and assessment.
• Knowledge of diverse teaching and learning styles and their application to creative learning.
• Ability to maintain a positive school ethos with focus on high achievement and inclusion.
• Ability to respond to changes and challenges in education and school improvement.
