Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent garage in Romsey, Hampshire, for a Vehicle Technician to join their established team. You will service, repair and diagnose a range of vehicles including cars, vans, motorhomes and light commercials in a well-equipped workshop. The salary ranges £30,000-£45,000 with realistic potential to earn up to £50,000.

Hours 08:30-17:00 Mon-Thu and 3PM finish on Fridays. 28 days holiday and a company pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a comprehensive mechanical background.
• Confident working on a variety of vehicles, including motorhomes and light commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of diagnostics using Snap On and Launch Diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs and diagnostics on petrol, diesel, light commercial vehicles and motorhomes.
• Carry out specialist work such as cambelts, wet belts, clutch replacements and engine diagnostics.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficient turnaround times.
• Work independently while maintaining effective communication within the team.
• Maintain accurate repair logs and adhere to health and safety protocols.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent garage in Romsey, Hampshire, for a Vehicle Technician to join their established team. The Vehicle Technician will have the chance to work on a diverse range of vehicles including cars, vans, motorhomes, and light commercial vehicles, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.

- Working hours from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, with early finishes at 3PM on Fridays
