Job summary

Priority Recruitment Services Ltd in Romsey is seeking an experienced Support Worker to assist a client living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy with social and community activities outside of school.

The role requires driving with a full UK license and involvement in personal care and mobility support. The client enjoys outings such as bowling, car racing, cinema, swimming and theatre.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive and hold a UK license.
• Experience supporting individuals with cerebral palsy or epilepsy is desirable.
• Must be physically active to support service user with busy schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support client at home and for activities including personal care and social outings.
• Assist with personal care and use of hoists as needed.
• Support client with activities such as bowling, cinema, swimming and theatre.

• Our client is 13 years old, requiring support in the home and for activities including personal care and the use of hoists
• Supporting our client with cerebral palsy and epilepsy and gastrostomy/PEG feeding
• Our client is an active thrill-seeker and enjoys activities such as bowling, car racing, cinema, swimming and the theatre

Successful Applicant:

• Must be able to drive and hold a UK license
• Previous experience supporting children with complex conditions (brain injuries and epilepsy is desirable)
• Must be physically active to support the service user with a busy schedule,
