Job summary

Priority Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting an experienced Support Worker in Wythenshawe to care for a 17-year-old non-verbal child with cerebral palsy and complex needs. The role involves full personal care, PEG feeding, oxygen support, and hoisting for transfers.

You will work 3 waking nights per week, 8pm–8am, with flexibility over shifts. Confidence with complex care and use of equipment, plus a UK driving license, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker in disability care.
• Comfortable with complex care for a non-verbal client.
• Ability to assist with PEG feeding, oxygen support and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care and continence support.
• Assist with transfers and hoisting using equipment.
• Support engaging in sensory and quiet activities at home.

• Our client is PEG fed, oxygen dependant and hoisted for transfers and requires full personal care and continence support

• This role requires someone confident in complex care with children and use of complex equipment
• Must be physically fit for manual handling tasks and long shifts
