Maritime Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work closely with students, supporting progress and well-being across our academy. You will work under the SENCO, supporting individuals and groups, monitoring progress and promoting high standards of behaviour with patience and compassion.
This fixed-term role offers an opportunity to develop experience with SEND pupils in a supportive environment and contribute to our students’ success this September.

Maritime Academy are expanding their team of Learning Support Assistants at our growing academy as we welcome our next cohort of students this September. The successful candidates will work as directed by the SENCO with individual students and groups of students, supporting with the monitoring of progress for individuals. Due to the nature of the role a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed.
This post is suitable if you are looking to build your experience working with SEND pupils.
Our Learning Support Assistant will also have the ability to work calmly under pressure and to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances.
