Job summary

OHCAT is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team, working closely with pupils and teaching staff to foster a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment. The role involves supporting learners, implementing behavioural strategies, and monitoring progress to assist teachers and the wider staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children or young people, ideally within a school or educational setting.
  • Understanding of or interest in supporting pupils with SEMH needs and additional learning needs.

  • Patience, resilience and the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
